Prof. Anup Kumar Kapoor taught papers on Human origins and ariation, Living Human Populations/ Biological Diversity in Human Populations, Craniometry, Somatometry and Somatoscopy, Human Population Genetics, Ethnic elements in Indian Populations, Anthropology of India, Anthropology in Practice, Fundamentals of Population Studies, Paleoanthropology, Human Population Genetics, Biostatistics, and Computational Anthropology, Serology, Dermatoglyphics, Demographic Anthropology, Forensic Anthropology, Research Methods and Techniques, and Applied Physical Anthropology for the last 32 years in the University of Delhi. He has been awarded various awards like Ruchi Award, Life-time Education Achievement Award, Vidya Ratan Award, Man of the Year Award, Dr. Panchanan Mitra Memorial Award, and also has been elected as the Sectional President in Anthropological and Behavioural Sciences of Indian Science Congress Association, Kolkata. He has served variously in the capacity of Provost of D. S. Kothari hostel from 1999-2001 and as a member of governing body of various committees and colleges. Also, he was the deputy Proctor of Delhi University from 1989-2004. He has successfully completed several projects variously funded by ICMR, ICSR, UGC, University of Delhi, ICSSR, etc. and is currently investigating a project funded by Lionex Diagnostic and Therapeutics, Germany Sponsored project “Prevalence of Tuberculosis among migrants and settled populations of Delhi” (2013-14). He has been central to framing the syllabus of B.Sc. (Hons.), M.Sc., (Anthropology), and Certificate Course in Forensic Science and is a Patron of various committees including Jiwaji University, Gwalior. Professor Kapoor was the former Vice-Chancellor of Jiwaji University, Gwalior. He retired from active service in January 2019.

Professor (Emeritus) Vijoy S Sahay, Former Head, Department of Anthropology, University of Allahabad, did his B.A. (Honours) and M.A. in Anthropology from Ranchi University. He obtained PhD for his fascinating research work on the Nicobar Archipelago under the supervision of Professor L.P. Vidyarthi. Professor Sahay’s main areas of interest in Anthropology have been teaching anthropological theories, and conducting field researches among the most primitive tribal groups of the country, particularly the primitive tribes of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. During the course of his anthropological career, Professor Sahay has carried out fieldworks in almost all parts of the country; from the tribal areas of the Himalayas in the north to Tamil Nadu in the south, and from the Khasi of Meghalaya in the east to the Bhils of Rajasthan in the west.
A widely traveled scholar in India and abroad,Professor Sahay has been author of a number of books, and research papers. Prof. Sahay is the Editor-in-Chief for the last 20 years of the internationally renowned anthropological research journal, THE ORIENTAL ANTHROPOLOGIST, published by the SAGE Publications. His latest book EXPERIENCING ANTHROPOLOGY IN THE NICOBAR ARCHIPELAGO has been brought out by the ROUTLEDGE. His forthcoming book is on ANTHROPOLOGICAL THOUGHT: FROM EVOLUTIONISM TO POSTMODERNISM AND AFTER. Professor Sahay has also been member of two important committees constituted by the Government of India for the protection and preservation of the dwindling tribes of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Prof.Michael H.Crawford is Professor Emeritus of anthropology at the Department of anthropology, University of Kansas. He obtained his B.A. Anthropology from University of Washington-Seattle 1960, he obtained M.A.in Anthropology, Biological anthropology from University of Washington-Seattle 1965, and he obtained Ph.D.in in anthropology, Biological Anthropology from University of Washington-Seattle 1967. Prof.Michael H.Crawford was the , Founding Member of American Association of Anthropological Genetics and served as its President during 1994-7. He was Awarded the 2016 Charles R. Darwin Research Achievement Award by the American Association of Physical Anthropologists, April 15th in Atlanta, GA.
Prof. Michael H. Crawford received Franz Boas Research Achievement Award from the Human Biology Association, April 14, 2011, Balfour-Jeffries, Higuchi Award for Research Excellence at the University of Kansas, 2006, Argentine Academy of Sciences, Cordoba, elected Foreign Academician, 2001-. This is an honor shared with Charles Darwin—who was inducted into the Academy in the 19th century. He served as President, Human Biology Association (premiere society of US Human Biologists.)

John Blangero is an American human geneticist who ranks in the top 3000 researchers in the world in terms of scholarly citations.[1] His research has been highly funded by the National Institutes of Health where he is reported to have obtained more than $64 million dollars in direct funding for genetic studies of common diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and psychiatric diseases.[2] He is a professor in the Department of Human Genetics at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) School of Medicine in Brownsville, Texas, where he is also Director of the Genomics Computing Center at the South Texas Diabetes and Obesity Institute. In addition, he serves as director of the San Antonio Family Heart Study, and played a major role in organizing the construction of the 11,000-processor computer cluster MEDUSA, which he and his collaborators use for genetic research at UTRGV.[3][4] Before joining UTRGV, he worked at the Southwest Foundation for Biomedical Research. His research has included a project focused on studying the function and structure of the human brain, for which he collaborated with David Glahn of Yale University.[5] He has also studied the genetic and environmental causes of diabetes and fatty liver disease among the Mexican American population in South Texas.

Prof. Subhadra Mitra Channa taught Anthropology at the University of Delhi. She retired from service on 31 October 2016. Her areas of interest are marginalization and identity, gender, religion and cosmology, ecology, and landscapes. She was a Charles Wallace Fellow to UK (Queen’s University 2000) and a Visiting Professor to MSH, Paris (2002), Fulbright visiting lecturer to USA ( 2003), and a Visiting Professor in 2008-9 to USC, USA. She has written about fifty scholarly papers and is the author/editor of eight books. She was the President of the Indian Anthropological Association and currently is editor of the Indian Anthropologist; was Chair of the Commission on the Anthropology of Women (IUAES) and is now an elected Vice President of IUAES. She was awarded the S.C. Roy memorial gold medal by the Asiatic Society for lifetime contribution to cultural anthropology, Her most recent publications include, ‘Gender in South Asia’ (Cambridge University Press); ‘The Inner and Outer Selves’ (Oxford University Press), and the edited book, ‘Life as a Dalit’( ed.) Prof.Gregory Savarimuthu is the Former Professor of anthropology, former Head, Department of Anthropology, Kannur University, Kerala, India. He is the General Secretary of the United India Anthropology Forum (UIAF), The Forum is intended to provide a unique platform for the exchange of views and ideas among the anthropological fraternity, mainly through virtual mode, and to serve as a platform in the creation and dissemination of anthropological knowledge, popularise and promote the discipline of anthropology at the institutional level, expand the application domains of anthropology with an inclusive and participatory approach, enhance the career prospects, and establish the identity of anthropology on firm grounds.

He was selected for the Fulbright Scholarship for post–doctoral work in the Department of Anthropology, University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas, the U.S.A from Sept 1992 for one year. He has obtained the British Council Division Scholarship for an M.A course in Development Studies – Development Economics at University of East Anglia, Norwich, U.K for one year during 1998-1999.Obtained University second rank in M.Sc Course in the university. He has secured state merit scholarship at high school stages and school rank in S.S.LC

He has published 3 books and 27 papers to his credit of which 9 papers are presented internationally and 18 papers are presented nationally.
